Awesome Trip

I just back from hunting with 5 Seasons. I’ve hunted with outfitters all over the country and I didn’t know exactly what to expect since this was my first time with them. I’m not going to lie, the first few days were really slow. But my guide Andrew did his best to get us on deer. But let me tell you, when them suckers turned on oh my goodness. I had bucks chasing does everywhere. They were grunting and snort wheezing. It was insane. My last morning I got dropped off super early. While I’m sitting in the dark I had a buck rubbing the post on my blind and grunting. As daylight broke I had a 135-140″ younger buck 20 yards in front of me in the corn field. Then the action picked up. There was multiple bucks running around chasing does. I was recording a young buck chase a doe when all of a sudden he stopped and a monster chocolate rack 300+ lbs 9pt come busting out of the woods. They ran towards my stand. I ranged him a 60 yards. I put the 60 yard pin on him and shot. We found my bolt and a good bit of blood. We tracked and came up short. Got a dog in and still couldn’t find him. So unfortunately I didn’t recover my buck. But the good thing is that it wasn’t a lethal shot and he will live to be hunted again by another hunter. It sucks but it’s hunting. I can honestly say that Jack the owner and my guide Andrew did everything they could to find my buck. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about booking. The hunting set ups are outstanding. Lots of thought and effort goes into designing these sets from CRP, green field, cut and standing corn. Every set is amazing. Just a little word of advice. If they tell you to stay on your stand, you stay on your stand. A 211″ buck was shot off my stand two days after I moved. Also if it’s slow at first, just give it a little time it will definitely get better. Thats one thing they can’t control is the weather or the deer movement. But I can promise you they have the bucks. Once again thank you Andrew for all your hard work and thanks to Jack for the great opportunity. Looking forward to hunting again with yall next season…

Let’s face it, there are plenty of places places across the Midwest that provide quality Whitetail hunts- so what is it about 5SEASONS that makes me excited to place my deposit for my 3rd consecutive archery prime rut hunt?
I could easily fill pages with praise for Jack, Dillion and the 5Season crew. Or I could describe humorous vignettes (at my expense) like how Pete retrieved my bow from bushes after it slid off a hanger. While such stories may demonstrate willingness to go way beyond average to support the novice hunter, it does nothing to explain why I believe this team is worthy of consideration for YOUR next hunt. So I will attempt to focus on just a few factors which I believe influence every hunter in camp.
First and foremost: 5SEASONS has decided to limit the number of weekly clients in order that every sit puts EVERY guest on HOT DATA for that SPECIFIC wind. Yes- you are guided along meticulously planned access to mind blowing habitat. To call the artfully designed ambush lairs a treestand does it no justice. I have had several sits in the last two seasons where my wind was nothing short of mystically transported up a cliff or drifted out the river behind me. I literally felt invisible (remember, same guy who dropped his bow out of tree was INVISIBLE!).
IT’s ALL ABOUT THE HUNT!! Nobody is going to work harder All year round to give EVERY HUNTER IN CAMP (Celebrity Hunter with camera crew…down to little old clumsy me) an EQUAL opportunity to harvest a TROPHY CLASS WHITETAIL.
You may not harvest a monster every season (REAL – free range hunting), but when you leave I can guarantee you will be confident that you received a quality service from some of best guides in the business.

Jack, Dylan, and crew have amazing facilities, wonderful food, and 5 star hunting grounds. Coming from CNY I was blown away with the quality and amount of deer I saw! I harvested a beautiful deer and regardless it would’ve been a trip of a lifetime! Great people and great hunting, can’t ask for much more!

I have been to 5 seasons twice now and can’t say enough about all Jack, Dylan, and the rest of the 5 Seasons team does there to make it an amazing experience. Status with amazing hospitality, food, and lodging. It only gets better once you hit the stands. Great stand set ups that you can tell they put a ton of thought into. I’ve seen the largest bucks in my life that just blow my mind. I can’t wait to get back there again this year, it’s all I think about until I do. I promise if you are thinking about going there, just do it you won’t regret it. It’s an amazing get away with awesome views and amazing deer, a trip of a lifetime!!

Jack and Dylan are beyond first class and want all their clients to be successful! My father and I decided to hunt early in bow season and could not have been happier with our first trip to Illinois. I was able to harvest the biggest deer of my life but soaking up the knowledge and experience 5Seasons has to offer was more rewarding than any harvest. We look forward to hunting with this awesome outfitter for years to come!

Truely one of the best times I have ever had on a guided trip! This place is truly amazing. And to top it off I put a 155” 8 in the back of the truck…. That will put a smile on your face for weeks!
Exceeded my expectations

5 Seasons is a first class outfit that exceeded my expectations during a 5 day archery hunt. Stand set-ups and locations were impressive due to terrain, cover and food. Jack, DT and Pete put me on big deer after big deer. I elected to pass several shooters and unfortunately missed a 160” 10 point due to an arrow deflection. Later in the hunt I decided to shoot a huge bodied 140” 8 point but bad luck plagued me again when my cam hit the side of the blind on the shot throwing it errantly. I will definitely be back for redemption!

If ur looking for a Whitetail Hunt of a lifetime These are the guys to call hands down i have had the opportunity of harvesting 4 beautiful deer with theis guys and will be there every fall from now on
